Straight conveyor belt

Straight conveyor belt

FENNER DUNLOP calls it UsFlex. We call it SW conveyor belt. It is a polyester "straight warp" belt consisting of one or two layers protected by a polyamide weft on the top and bottom.

Due to the thinner carcass, UsFlex can be used with smaller pulley diameters than textile plies or steel cord belts. Straight-through belts are used in heavy duty conveyors where heavy impact and tear resistance are important properties and are often found in quarrying, surface mining and steel industries or where heavy duty but narrow belt applications are required, such as in tunnels.

4. Less chance of damage due to cutting and polishing the strength members of the fabric layer when preparing and stripping the tape end.

5. The life cycle is four times that of traditional stepped joints on traditional multi-layer or straight-through conveyor belt structures.

6. Versatility of mounting finger joints on bevels or squares.
